La Patience Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on clothes for women and children, which will reinforce her starting capital.

La Patience Group's story

Mme Yvone is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and oversees the "La Patience" solidarity group. She is 56 years old, married, and the mother of 4 children (2 of whom are in school). Her spouse is a trader.

She sells various clothing items and she started this business 30 years ago with funding received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which she was steadily growing.

A new loan will allow her to stock up on clothing for women and children, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge in her business is tied to a lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to be able to feed her family. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to owners of businesses that don't have monetary value, especially in the context of the global crisis due to COVID-19.
