Nchafalo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging, in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Nchafalo Group's story

Matlotliso is a 44-year-old woman who lives in a 2-bedroom house, without access to electricity, with 4 children. Matlotliso works as a civil servant but struggles with buying multiple fuels. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on gas, which costs up to LSL 106 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Matlotliso and the other member of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
