Benard's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs to boost production.

Benard's story

Benard, 29, is a humble and responsible husband and father of two children. He has set the perfect example for his family by being a hardworking man.

Benard works as a motorcycle transport operator and doing farming together with his wife in Kericho, one of the very fertile highlands in Kenya. These areas produce much of the food consumed in the country and he is one of the people who make small differences to ensure that the country is food secure while creating job opportunities for other people to work on his farm and operating his motorcycle so that they are able to earn a daily wage.

These activities have helped to reduce abject poverty in his area and he wishes to continue to improve his family's and his community's living standards.

Benard is kindly requesting a loan that will help him to buy certified seeds and fertilizers that will increase his production. The improved profits will help him clear his loan and cater for his family's needs much more comfortably.

His dream is to give his children a good education.
