Perpetuo Socorro Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, cheese, ham, meat, and other products.

Perpetuo Socorro Group's story

The group called Perpetuo Socorro is in its fourteenth loan cycle in the women's bank program, in which they all work and help each other get ahead. They're also in the poverty-elimination program, in which they all strive for a better quality of life for their families.

One of them is Patricia, who works making and selling food at her home. She said she joined the group with the goal of being able to get training and, with that, provide her family with a better quality of life, so they don't lack for anything at all. She's a selfless person who, despite any problems, looks for ways to be able to improve herself and have a better quality of life.

She's requesting this loan to buy ingredients for her dishes, such as flour, cheese, ham, meat, and other products so she can continue with her sales as usual.

Note: There's only one person in the photo but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
