A loan helped to buy seeds and rent the land for growing cassava in this coming season.

Chantho's story

Chantho is 28-years-old and lives with her spouse and children in Preah Andoung village, a rural area of Rokhak Kiri district, Batambong province. Local people in this region work primarily in agriculture, commerce and livestock. As with other farmers, Chantho seasonally grows rice and cassava, which she sells in the markets after collecting the harvest. She has been in this occupation for more than five years and earns approximately KHR 20,000 per day.

She is now requesting a loan in order to invest in buying seeds and renting the land for growing cassava in this coming season. In this way, Chantho hopes to increase production and earn more income for her family. Through her hard work, perseverance and patience, she will be a successful entrepreneur in the future.
