Ramona Isabel's story

Ramona is married. She has 3 children who are 15, 13, and 10 years old. Her husband works at the pier. They live in a relative's house in Manta, a prosperous city visited by many tourists who enjoy its marvelous beaches. However, tourism decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ramona is a hardworking woman who strives honestly to earn her own financial resources. Despite the difficult situation, she is looking for a way to continue earning her income. This is why she decided a year ago to start a little business selling bows, various types of headbands, among other items. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her business was affected since she couldn't carry out her sales as a street vendor. Because of the fear of catching the virus, she avoided leaving her house and that is why she decided to sell from her home in order to continue making a living.

She will invest the loan in the purchase of different types of headbands, bows, among other items. Her dream is for her business to prosper.
