Ledice Margarita's story

Ledice Margarita and her family live in the canton of Montecristi, a place known for its rich pre-colonial culture and its handicrafts that have gained national and international recognition. Like the rest of the country, this area has been severely affected by COVID-19.

Ledice Margarita is a hardworking woman who seeks to earn income of her own so that she can help her husband get ahead, which is now more difficult because of the pandemic. She sells clothes and shoes. Prior to the pandemic, she would travel throughout the city to make sales, but now she only sells through social networks and by making home deliveries. Ledice Margarita continues to work in this manner in hopes that things will improve and that life will return to normal.

This loan will be used to buy shoes, trousers, T-shirts, blouses, and other garments.
