Huayrurpata Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to maintain his cocoa crops by investing in pruning, weeding, and fertilizers.

Huayrurpata Group's story

Carlos is the president of the "Huayrurpata" communal bank. This group has 6 members, and they are starting their 2nd loan cycle. In the photo, you see the board of directors of the group. They are the secretary, treasurer, and president.

For 7 years, Carlos has been selling cocoa and other crops that he grows in the area. He is always seeking to increase his production through training and technical assistance.

With the loan he is requesting from Kiva, Carlos wants to do maintenance on his cocoa crops. He will invest in pruning, weeding, and fertilizers so that he can increase his production and provide his customers with quality products.

In addition to agricultural work, Carlos has a job in civil construction. He is known to be a hardworking, enterprising, and dedicated person who continues to provide for the well-being of his little one (a 2 year-old child) and his partner. One of his goals is to build a house with quality construction materials.
