Pacita's story

Pacita is 59 years old and married to Benito, a farmer. They are blessed with four grown children, from whom they get inspiration to work hard. Pacita's family's main source of income comes from farming. Since income from farming comes only during harvesting, and because it takes four to five months before harvesting the crops, Pacita decided to run a retail business. She has been selling groceries, beverages, and imported clothes for 33 years now.

Pacita needs revolving capital to sustain her business. She is requesting a loan of PHP 70,000 to buy stocks of many more groceries for resale. She will also use the loan to buy clothes in bulk to sell in her community. Pacita will manage the business well to have a continuous source of income that could help her to fund her family's needs.
