Kuña Mbarete De Aparypy Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clay and firewood to make bricks.

Kuña Mbarete De Aparypy Group's story

The "Kuña Mbarete de Aparypy" loan group is on its fourth loan cycle as part of the women's committee programme, under which all of the women fight for a higher quality of life for their families so that they do not need for anything.

One member of the group is Digna, who has a brickyard. She says she makes bricks and has an established customer base, comprising customers who always buy from her. Digna is a hard-working, enterprising, and - above all - self-sacrificing woman who wants to find a way to move forward and continue giving the best to her family so that they do not need for anything.

Digna is applying for this loan in order to buy clay and firewood in bulk; she can then continue with her work.

Note: only one borrower appears in the photo even though this is a group loan; as groups cannot come together owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to take a group photo.
