Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fresh fruits to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Emprendedoras" loan group is on its first loan cycle as part of the women's committee programme, where all the women work and help each other to move forward. The group is undertaking the poverty elimination survey.

One member worth mentioning is Clavelina, who sells fruits. She has a modest business that has allowed her to move her family forward and give them a decent life. Clavelina is enterprising and looks for ways to improve and overcome all obstacles that come before her. She is grateful for this opportunity to join the loan group and invest in and improve her business.

Clavelina is applying for this loan in order to buy fresh fruits to sell and thereby stock up with more products.

Note: only one borrower appears in the photo even though this is a group loan; as groups cannot come together owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to take a group photo.
