A loan helped to invest in the maintenance of her cocoa plot. She wants to make fertilizer to have a better harvest and for her customers to be satisfied.

Otari Group's story

The ACPD Otari, is in its 13th cycle, consists of 15 members and has three representatives that make up the board of directors. In the photograph you can see the President Ketty, the treasurer and at the other end the secretary.

Ketty, 36, has two sons, the older one is 10 and the younger one is 2 years old. Together with her partner, they are getting ahead. She has been in agriculture for more than 10 years – growing cocoa, bananas, and transportation services. Her goal has always been to be able to have good productivity and with the goal of one day exporting her cocoa product.

Faced with these goals, she requests this loan through Kiva to invest in the maintenance of her cocoa plot. She wants to make fertilizer to have a better harvest and so her clients are satisfied.

Her spouse works in transportation: moving people from one place to another. Both seek a better quality of life for their little ones.

Ketty considers herself a punctual person with her payments, is responsible and is very collaborative with her partners who belong to the Otari ACPD.
