Valens's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a delivery van to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

Valens's story

Valens 41, is a father of four sons and one daughter.

He is a hard working businessman who prior to Jibu, was selling different products like laptops and cooking gas. He sold these products in norther province and also cross to the neighboring country (Congo).

He used to buy small bottled water to drink but it was expensive, so he decided to buy a 20L tap bottle of Jibu. He liked the taste and asked how it is purified. As a business person he realized it is a good business that would profit him, so he started selling it. And in 2018 he was awarded a Jibu franchise in the western province.

He wants to increase his sales, serve his community with quality products and also give job opportunities to the youth. He still struggles with delivery though, He can only serve people that are near the franchise.

A loan will help him purchase a delivery van that will supply retailers that are far from his franchise and customers that were not able to purchase safe drinking water.
