Bandu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on palm oil in bulk to resell.

Bandu Group's story

Ms. Yvonne is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the business group named “BANDU”. She is married, 46 years old, and the mother of five children, who are all in school. Her husband is a doctor.

A vendor of palm oil, she started this enterprise in 1999 with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she joined the Hekima program for supporting her enterprise and has worked progressively in it.

With this new loan, she will stock up on palm oils in bulk to bolster her initial capital. The challenges in her business have to do with the poor transporting of oil.

She would like to do some construction and to have her children continue in school. So, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis tied to Covid-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of Covid-19.
