Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy drinks, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, tinned goods, meat and other items.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group is called "Mujeres Emprendedoras," since that is what they are [Entrepreneurial Women]. They fight every day so their families can have a better quality of life. They are also in the Elimination of Poverty Program, where they are seeking the way to be able to overcome the situation of poverty.

Lidia is one of these women. She works in sales. She has a small general store that she works in every day from early in the morning. She says that she began with very little, and was making it better with her daily sacrifice and effort. She continues that her work was very affected by the Covid-19 pandemic since she could not work normally, and so that simultaneously affected her income.

Lidia is requesting this loan to buy products for her store, such as drinks, baked goods, vegetables, fruit, canned goods, meat and other products to be able to again stock and build up her business.

Note: Even though this is a group loan, there is only one person in the photo. It was not possible to have a group photo due to the need for social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
