Noong Het 22 Group's story

Hang, 27 years old, is a Thai ethnic woman. She graduated from trade school, then got married, and is currently pregnant. She lives with her husband and husband's mother in a small house on stilts, in Dien Bien province, where agriculture is the main income activity.

Her husband works at the television station and is the main income generator in the family. Hang does some work to generate additional income, such as growing rice and vegetables, and raising chickens and ducks. She wanted to expand her livestock production to improve the economy and save money to raise her child, so she decided to borrow a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to invest in buying chicken breeds. She hopes that with her 2 years of experience in raising chickens, together the technical support from the program, the investment will be successful and profitable.
