Olandina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional materials for her weaving shop such as different colors of yarns and/or warp threads.

Olandina's story

Olandina is a modest, hardworking 35-year-old who is married. She has amazing skill and experience with East Timor traditional woven cloth-making called tais. She makes a living from it.

Her weaving shop, which she has been running since 2000, is well located where it is easy to find. Many people come to buy her weaving every day.

Running the business has made Olandina become independent because she can be responsible for herself and also helps support her family's everyday needs. She previously borrowed and repaid all of her first loan regularly on time.

Now, she would like a loan of $1,000 through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional materials like different colors of yarns and/or warp threads. Olandina hopes to expand the size of her business in the future and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
