Abanyamurava Cb Group's story

Alphonsine is 40 years old and married with four children aged between 11 and 19 years. Her husband is a construction worker. For the past fifteen years, she has owned a shop.

Alphonsine is the leader of the group named Abanyamurava Cb, which means “Courageous persons” in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Alphonsine will use her loan to buy more clothes, women's bags, and shoes to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to provide for the family and put away some savings.

She is thankful for the support,

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
