Annie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a pig and feed.

Annie's story

Annie is 47 years old. She is married and has 5 children, 4 of whom are independent. The family lives in a rented house, in a rural village. Annie has been raising pigs for about 10 years. Her spouse sells milk.

The family wishes to build a house to live in. To be able to do this, the couple is going to build up their savings. With her spouse’s agreement, Annie has begun to take on loans. She has chosen Vahatra to accompany her on this journey. She will use the money from the loan to expand her pig raising business. She bought a pig with the previous loan which she has not yet sold.

She is asking the lenders to help her to buy another pig so add to her livestock and also feed to nourish them. She will sell the pigs after fattening.

She hopes to make enough profit to have some savings for her project of building a house.
