Pebofatso Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Pebofatso Group's story

Maselemela is a 50 year old woman who lives in a 1 bedroom house, without access to electricity, with 4 other family members including 3 children. Maselemela works as a civil servant but struggles with buying multiple fuel. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and gas, which costs up to LSL288 per month. She also spends as much as 1hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging. Maselemela and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
