Setho's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Setho's story

Setho is a 32-year-old man who lives in a two-bedroom house, without access to electricity, with two children. He relies on piece jobs and struggles with buying multiple fuels on an incompetent income. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on paraffin, which costs up to LSL 400 per month. He also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

He bought the ACE-1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also to help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE-1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar-powered.
