Grupo San Carlos Las Vecinas Group's story

Antonia, age 57, has four children between the ages of 22 and 35 years. She lives in the village of San Carlos Nahualate.

She earns her own income through her business buying and selling typical clothing from the region. Fortunately she has demand for her products; the majority of the women where she lives use and appreciate her hand-made clothing.

Antonia is a woman who likes to be successful and to seek alternatives that help her to strengthen family finances. That is why this year she has come to request a loan to invest in the purchase of groceries such as eggs, oil, sugar, and salt. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, she sees the new business she is starting with positive eyes. These are products that are sold every day and are indispensable in the home.
