G.s La Pimienta Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fertilizers, chicken manure, and lime, and to make a payment for maintenance of the land on which she grows corn.

G.s La Pimienta Group's story

Suyapa, 51, is married, has two children, and lives in the city of Morazán, Yoro. She used to devote herself to taking care of her family and doing housework, but for the past 16 years, she has worked growing corn. She has her crops on farmland in her community and she sells her harvests in the local market, as well as on the streets. Her dream is to continue growing corn so that she can purchase her own plot of land and increase her revenues in order to support her household.

Suyapa is a member of the G.S. La Pimienta lending group, and they are seeking a loan for 41,000 Lempiras to purchase fertilizers, chicken manure and lime, and to make lease payments for their land. The group is made up of three people who have all had several loans with the institution.
