Gs Resistencia 1 Group's story

Mikerlange is a Haitian immigrant who came to the Dominican Republic in search of better living conditions. She came with her uncle, liked the country and stayed. She has lived there for 20 years now.

Mikerlange started selling clothes, but over time this job wasn't providing much income. She decided to change and set up a grocery store to generate better earnings.

In her grocery store Mikerlange sells rice, beans, seasonings, bread, drinks, sugar, salt, groceries, vegetables, and oil, among other things. She says that with the earnings from her business she can help support her family.

Mikerlange has lived her whole life in the cycle of poverty and dreams of seeing her children prosper. She needs your help to buy new merchandise and stock her business. Thank you for contributing to GS Resistencia 1.
