Angie Margarita's story

Angie Margarita is a 23 year old micro-businesswoman who lives in the municipality of Soledad. For her business she owns a store and has more than one year of experience doing this work. In her store she sells all types of supplies and groceries such as rice, sugar, oils, eggs, cleaning products and more. She and her husband start work very early at their business to provide excellent service as this undertaking has become the source of income for their household. She is known in the area for her good service and the high quality of her products.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred on a world wide level, she has less work because of bio-safety issues and her cash flow dropped drastically. That is why she is requesting her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo with the goal of buying non-perishable items, bags of rice, oils, eggs and other items.
