Leativa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy kava plants and tobacco seeds, chemicals, a back pack sprayer and a chainsaw.

Leativa's story

Leativa is a 45 year old married woman with 3 children. She runs a business of selling kava and samoan tobacco in her community to earn a living. She has 4 years of experience with this business. Leativa works very hard to please her customers with her fresh kava and tobacco.

She thought she will earn more income if she plants more kava and samoan tobacco, but in order to do this, Leativa needs a loan to buy kava plants and tobacco seed, chemicals, back pack sprayer and a chainsaw, to help her run the business. She even delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus for transportation.

She comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living, but only her business will help with her family's needs. Her dream is to one day for her family to have a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finance for her business. Leativa realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through the financing.
