Yamah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more flour, sugar, oil, and milk to sell.

Yamah's story

Meet 45-year-old Yamah. She is a single mother with three children. She never had the opportunity to attend school.

She deals in a business selling flour, sugar, oil, milk, etc. She has been operating her sales for 25 years and has had no problem with her business. She learned how to sell from her mother. She uses a wheelbarrow to transport supplies to her business site. She sells Monday through Saturday, 12 hours daily.

She requires a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. The loan will be used to buy more flour, sugar, oil, and milk to sell to further build her business and increase her income.

She likes her business because it gives her profits and also helps to support her family. In the future, Yamah would like to increase her business and build houses. She says thanks to all lenders around the world.
