Alivella's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more bananas, charcoal, and Irish potatoes to sell to the community.

Alivella's story

Greetings from Rwanda!

Alivella is an entrepreneur who owns a small shop in her community. She is a 43-year-old married woman with five children aged between 5 and 13 years. She has sold bananas, charcoal, and Irish potatoes to the community for the past five years, and she has one employee to help her.

The challenges she faces now is COVID-19 because she is not getting the profit as she expected; clients are not buying as before. This is why she has requested a loan for the purpose of expanding her business by buying more bananas, charcoal, and Irish potatoes to sell to the community in order to meet customer demand. With the profit from the loan, she will be able to pay school fees for her children, to renovate her house, etc.

She thanks you for your support.
