A loan helped to buy bran for chickens.

Thanh Luong 29 Group's story

Having gotten married when she was very young, Mrs. Chien, 33, has two older children: a son who is in the ninth grade and a daughter in the seventh. Currently, she lives with husband's parent, her husband, and two children in a small house on stilts in a poor village in Dien Bien province.

She makes a living by farming. In addition, she also grows grapefruit and jackfruit; she raises chickens, ducks, swans, pigs and buffalo. Her husband sometimes works as a mason to earn extra income for the family. Having school age children, she always works hard to expand production to earn money to cover school fees for her children.

She took a 9-round loan with the Anh Chi Em program and has repaid successfully, so she decided to take out a tenth loan. She wants to invest in buying chicken bran to develop her animal husbandry and expand her business. If the investment is successful, she will continue to invest in the development of chicken and pig farming.
