Pdc 188 Bugtong Women's Association Group's story

Chona is married and has a business raising pigs in the Philippines. She is a business minded person and keeps track of every peso that goes in or out of her pocket. She has been a member of NWTF for 4 years and works diligently to manage the funds that NWTF trusted her with to make a profit, and she repays her obligation.

Chona is the president of Pdc 188 Bugtong Women’s Association, and she helps her members to earn a living. She knows all of her members in the Association through the many years they have been together in the centers. Each member runs their own business, such as raising pigs, farming sugarcane, running a general store, etc., and all of their businesses are doing great.

Chona is requesting a loan to purchase additional sacks of feed, vitamins and piglets to raise. She hopes that the project will continue so more members can benefit from it and thereby help the community by encouraging others to join NWTF.

Since Chona has seen each member of NWTF becomes very happy counting their profits and improving their businesses, she continues to encourage other members of NWTF to join her group and improve their standard of living.
