Virginia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock Virginia's small general store with chips, bread, canned and frozen goods, noodles, etc.

Virginia's story

Virginia is a respected resident of Aliaga, Nueva Ecija. She is 56 years old, happily married to Sergio, and blessed with two children. For almost twenty years now she has had a sari-sari, or small general store, where she sells chips, bread, canned and frozen goods, noodles, etc.

Virginia has been a responsible client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc. (ASKI) for almost nine years. She has been entrusted again with a 30,000 PHP loan under its business loan program to restock her shop with more of the above items to generate more income to support her family. Virginia believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva funders, her dreams for her family will come true.
