Barrio America Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy candy, flour, sugar, butter, and other supplies.

Barrio America Group's story

The communal bank group Barrio América is part of the poverty elimination program, where all members strive to improve their quality of life and better themselves.

One of the members is Mirta, who works in making confectionery. She makes all kinds of pastries and mentions she is doing well since everything she prepares is liked by her customers. She is an enterprising person who is good at what she does; this is why she is doing well and has been improving little by little. She seeks to keep improving, that is why she decided to join the group.

Mirta is requesting this loan to buy supplies to keep making her products, such as candy, flour, sugar, butter, and other products.

Note: In this picture, there is only one person but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid the gathering of people because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
