Ahmed is an entrepreneur living in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, after fleeing violence in Somalia in 1990. Since 2015, Ahmed has steadily grown his business that provides much-needed support to his family. Ahmed has over 18 years of business experience and a business that is strategically located, creating a well-established customer base in Kakuma 4 refugee camp.
With his first loan, Ahmed was able to increase the number of products he offers in his food store. Ahmed was able to successfully repay the loan, and now wants another one for working capital to increase working capital to purchase more stock for his food store to satisfy the business’s growing customer demands.
