Leonila's story

Leonila is a 55-year-old businesswoman from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married.

She has been engaged in a sari-sari (variety) store, which has been the source of income that supports their daily needs for almost 23 years. Aside from this, Leonila also engages in farming for an additional income.

Leonila wants to improve her farming business, so she applied for an agricultural loan through ASKI amounting to 50,000 PHP.

Her loan proceeds will be used to buy fertilizer for their crops, which may help her to support their agricultural business. Leonila's dream is for her family to have a better living. She believes that , with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, they will have a victorious life.
