A loan helped to purchase winter clothes and shoes for her store.

Carmen Maria's story

Carmen has a 1 year-old child who is dependent on her, and she also has a business in which she sells clothes. She started this business about 10 years ago.

She knows very well the work that Kiva does with MiCreditovery, given that she has already benefited from a loan from these two organizations. The first loan she requested was used to invest in her business, and with it she was able to purchase some items that she didn't have at the store. For this reason, she is very grateful.

She is now requesting a new loan, which she will pay with support from her family. She will use this loan to purchase more items for her store, specifically, clothes and shoes for the winter. She believes this will help her obtain better products to supply her store, and therefore, will help her obtain higher profits. In the future, she wants to continue investing in her store in order to increase its size and product supply.
