Teresita's story

Teresita is 64 years of age, married and has four grown-up children. Her husband is a farmer who cultivates their farm land while Teresita engages in vegetable vending to help her husband in gaining income. They aim to earn and save more income to satisfy their necessities, save for future emergencies and help finance the schooling of their grandchildren. Despite problems and difficulties they encountered in life, they have the determination to achieve their goals.

Teresita aims to continue and strengthen the business to ensure a higher income. She is requesting an additional capital of PHP 50,000 to buy sweet potatoes, okra, squash, beans, cabbages, tomatoes and eggplant to sell in their village. She believes that when she strives harder, she will make the business grow and be more profitable in the future.
