A loan helped to buy vegetables, meat, condiments, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and other ingredients.

Kuña Katupyry Group's story

The group named “Kuña Katupyry” is in its 26th loan cycle as part of the Women’s Committee Program. All of the members are working and helping one another to get ahead. They are also participating in the poverty elimination program so that they can improve their quality of life.

One of the members is Sra. Claudia, who sells food that she prepares herself every day. She begins her work early and then sells as a street vendor. In addition, Claudia says that her husband helps with delivering the food she prepares. Her business has allowed her to excel and grow in order that she can continue helping her ones so that they lack nothing.

Claudia is requesting a loan to buy ingredients for preparing her food such as vegetables, meat, condiments, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and other products.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
