Mujeres Renovadas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ingredients in bulk for making sweet and savory dishes.

Mujeres Renovadas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Renovadas is made up of 17 women, all from the town of Pilar. They work in various jobs, from commerce to services.

One of them is Ornelia, who works selling vegetables, making sweet and savory dishes. She advertises on social media. This business is the family's main work.

She mentioned that the crisis situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic also affects the community where she lives. They reinvented themselves and generated a new source of income, which is selling food with home-delivery service.

She said she needs to be able to invest a little more capital in her new enterprise and lift herself up financially that way. She's going to use the loan to buy ingredients in bulk for making sweet and savory dishes so she can continue with her sales.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
