La Confianza N°2 Arenales Group's story

Pastora is 61 years old and married. She is a business person, who started growing basic grains and coffee together with her husband. Together they have eleven children.
Her husband has half a plot of land where he grows coffee in its regular state and bananas, of which he harvests approximately 50 bunches monthly to sell and with the revenue covers some of the family's expenses.
Pastora started her general store business with her own funds. Her idea to start the business came from her daughter who had a general store but left it when she emigrated to another country, and Pastora decided to continue with this same business to maintain the customer base.
She is requesting a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds to buy products such as rice, sugar, oil, salt, bread, etc. and in this way provide better service to her customers.
She is part of the solidarity group “La confianza No. 2 arenales” together with Doris who works making and selling nacatamales and enchiladas, and Alicia who buys and sells bananas and also earns money annually harvesting coffee.
