Nelebeth's story

For more than 10 years now, Nelebeth has been running a shop and selling vegetables, such as squash, okra, tomatoes, chayote, and various spices. In her free time, she also engages in selling lechon (roasted) pig, to locals in her town. She is a 47-year-old married woman with six children, of whom four are still attending school.

Her main struggle in managing her existing project is the limited funds. Thus, she has decided to avail herself of a loan which will be used to buy variety of supplies like condiments, vegetables and capital for roasted pig vending.

With these, she should be able to cope with demand and augment her income as well. She is hoping that someday, she will become a successful entrepreneur and be able to support the needs of her children as well.
