Norah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs, such as fertilizers and quality seeds, for her farm to improve productivity and support her children's education with the profits.

Norah's story

Norah is a mother of two school-going children, who lives in Litein, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands favoring large-scale grain, dairy and crop farming. Norah’s story involves struggles and successes. She was attracted to farming after observing her parents making profits after they sold their produce. In fact, they were using the proceeds to pay school fees for her siblings and herself.

She has been practicing mixed farming for the past few years, enabling her to support her family comfortably. Norah also grows crops, but she has not been making good profits due to low quality farm inputs. This loan will allow her to buy good fertilizer and seeds.

Norah is a visionary woman. Her goal for this season is to be able to produce a bigger harvest than last year, which can be achieved through the goodwill of lenders. She believes that through this loan she will turn around her family's fortune.

Norah is a woman worth supporting, and this loan will have a lasting effect on her family's life, as Juhudi Kilimo helps women get out of poverty.
