Julanda's story

For more than 10 years now, Julanda has operated a sari-sari (variety) store, selling various commodities ranging from noodles, canned goods, soft drinks, sugar, eggs, soap and beverages. She is a 42-year-old married woman with six children, four of whom are still attending school.

She is asking for a loan, used to buy more goods such as noodles, canned goods, edible oil and toiletries. These will be keep her store full of stock and could attract more buyers. Thus, her earnings will start to improve and enable her to provide her family with nutritious diets and continue send them to school. With these, she could continue to save and be able to do some expansion.

Julanda is hoping that someday she will become a successful entrepreneur and will be able to support the needs of her children as well.
