Kenzhekan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her sales of milk to a local plant.

Kenzhekan's story

The 32-yar-old Kenzhekan is married, with four children. She has a secondary education and has been raising livestock since 2006. This her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work, Kenzhekan's farm presently consists of eight cows, ten sheep, and two horses. She has a contract to deliver organic milk to a local plant, where it is processed into dairy products. This allows her to constantly put money back into her agricultural business.

After learning that she could obtain a loan from Bai Tushum Bank using the contract for future deliveries as collateral under a Value-Added Chain arrangement, Kenzhekan has applied for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her aim in this is to increase her sales of organic milk. The plant's payments for the milk will be deposited directly into Kenzhekan's bank account, and the loan payments will be automatically deducted. The income generated by this loan will help her develop her business going forward and improve her family's living conditions.
