Ehilene's story

Ehilene is a micro-entrepreneur living with her spouse in the city of Barranquilla. She has a business selling food and prepared meals. Ehilene has more than 10 years of experience and operations in this line of work.

Ehilene started her business because she always wanted to be her own boss and produce results daily so that her business would grow and have credibility with local people. Her main clients are neighbors, relatives, and visitors to the area.

Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, her level of work deteriorated due to issues of biosafety and her income reduced drastically. Currently, she is requesting her first Kiva loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to buy rice, flour, vegetables, proteins, disposable containers, gloves, and face masks. Support Ehilene with her business loan.
