Yomira Alexandra's story
Alexandra is a hardworking woman who puts all of her energy into working for her family's well-being. She is married and is the mother of a 4-year-old. Currently she is living in her mother-in-law's house in the rural town of Ipueran. She raises cattle while her husband works as a day laborer. When a cow gives birth to heifer calves, Alexandra prepares them to produce milk, and if they are bull calves she sells them. In order to do this work, she rents pasture land to feed the animals. This is how she generates her own income for the household. Alexandra plans to add a cow to her business, which is why she is requesting the lenders' help to pay rent for pasture land and to buy a cow. Her goal for the future is to be able to buy land to build her house and raise her animals.
