Mujeres Valientes Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, fruits, canned goods, and other products for her store.

Mujeres Valientes Group's story

Mujeres Valientes group was formed by female friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazú who are seeking a way to improve their own standard of living and that of their loved ones. They are in their second cycle in the women's committee program. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

One of the group members is Maria, who has a small grocery store in her home where she sells basic necessities. She mentions that she tries to always have all kinds of products on hand to attract more customers, and also to continue improving. With her work, she helps to support her family, and she wants to keep doing that.

She is requesting this loan to be able to buy a variety of items for sale, such as vegetables, fruits, canned goods, and other products.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
