A loan helped to buy more rice.

Twiyubake Cb Group's story

Cesarie is 61 years old and married with four children aged between 25 and 32 years. For the past twenty years, she has been selling foodstuff.

Cesarie is the leader of the group called Twiyubake Cb, which in English means “ Build each other up.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.

Cesarie will use her loan to buy more rice to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will put away some savings and also provide for her family.

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
