Holanda Elizabeth's story

Holanda Elizabeth, 59, is married and has 3 grown children. Her husband is a merchant, and they live in Puerto Lopez. This is a place that usually gets many tourists, but is now deserted because of the emergency caused by Covid-19.

Holanda Elizabeth is a hardworking woman who does not give up. She will continue to fight because this is how she will be able to get out of this difficult situation. She has a bakery in her house where she prepares and sells sweet and regular rolls, tarts, and other bakery products. This pandemic has been very difficult for her, as she had to close her business for a number of days and was not able to sell. Later she opened, in spite of her anxiety and fear of illness, and she is now keeping the business running and hoping that things will improve.

Holanda Elizabeth will use this loan to buy flour, salt, butter, sugar, and other supplies to make bread.
