Karen Karolina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase orders of bleach gel, disinfectants, clothing softeners, liquid detergents, etc.

Karen Karolina's story

Karen Karolina is 28 years old, separated, and at the moment does not have children. She lives in her own house. She lives in Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Karen Karolina works selling cleaning products (clothing, floors, bathrooms, kitchens) from BOOM catalogs. She offers them on social media, WhatsApp, and from door to door. She leaves them with her customers on credit and collects weekly.

During this global crisis, she has had financial difficulties. Her customers cannot pay her because they have been unemployed and others have died. At first, the health crisis was very bad for her because she could no longer sell but now, little by little, she is reactivating it so to be able to continue generating her income. In her family, her grandmother died from COVID-19.

With this new loan, she will purchase orders of bleach gel, disinfectants, clothing softeners, liquid detergents, etc. Her dream is to have a vehicle to continue with her sales and that her family is very healthy.
