Maria Ramona's story

Maria is 23 years old. She is in a common-law marriage and she has a 5-year-old daughter. Her husband is a turner. They live in the house of a relative in Manta, a place where the inhabitants are humble and very hardworking, who fight day after day to help their families get ahead.

Maria is a microbusiness owner who makes an effort daily in order to get her income honorably, and this is why, one year ago, she decided to start her business where she makes a living painting nails in homes. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to suspend her work and her income diminished drastically for health reasons. This is why now she is requesting a loan to reactivate her business.

This loan is to invest in nail polish, cotton, alcohol, nail files, and other materials. Her dream is to have her own home and to give the best to her daughter.
